For those about to rock– we salute you with Summer GRIT, Rock Tour Edition.
We want you to turn up the decibels on your running for the month of July and see how loud your legs can get as you rack up mileage.
Choose your own path to stardom as you start out at the Garage Band level and work your way to the top as a Stadium star.
Log your mileage on RunSignup and level up along the way as you collect some hardcore GRIT digital badges featuring some of our favorite skull-crushing designs. Run over 300 miles and reach levels of fame that even the Fab Four would be jealous of. (We take no responsibility for screaming groupies showing up at your front door.)
Also, we’re running back the elevation challenge this go-around because it was such an insane competition last time, with some runners tripling the elevation of Everest in one month.
Yes, it’s going to be hot. Yes, it may feel like you’re on a highway to hell. But isn’t that what chilled Jägermeister is for?
Check out the levels this time around:
LEVEL 1) Garage Band: 25-49 miles
LEVEL 2) Dive Bar: 50-99 miles
LEVEL 3) Club: 100-199 miles
LEVEL 4) Festival: 200-299 miles
LEVEL 5) Stadium: 300+ miles
No matter how many miles you run, all runners will receive the usual fantastic GRIT swag bundle. This year, you’ll take home a limited edition blanco Believe crushable running hat, ASICS tour t-shirt with event branding, and cold-bev coozie.
All registrants will also receive as many digital patches as they can collect, race bib, and access to our Strava club and private Summer GRIT Facebook group. Plus, all participants will have the chance to win some amazing prizes packs from our sponsors, including weekly shoe giveaways from ASICS and grand prizes from ASICS and Running Warehouse.
Running outside of the U.S.? You can still join for free and get all of the GRIT graphics (including distance badges) and join our GRIT community online.
